Compensation ranging from $11.00-$12.00 based on experience and qualifications.

Who we are seeking:
The Communication and Event Specialist is a utility player on the Development Team at Community LINC. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: sponsorship research and solicitation to individuals and corporations, and planning, coordinating and execution of the annual agency events. Additionally, this position is responsible for marketing and communication tactics to include newsletters, researching, writing, editing and designing communications, and managing social media handles, web site updates, and assisting with grant writing underscoring the need for detail/oriented and project management skill sets.

Who We Are Seeking: We seek an enthusiastic, self-motivated, results-oriented individual to play a central role in creating robust engagement strategies to serve the Greater Kansas City's Coordinated Entry System. The Housing Family Navigator will work with households experiencing homelessness by building an early rapport and acting as a bridge case manager to connect to benefits and housing opportunities. United Way of Greater Kansas City is seeking Part-time Community Resource Navigators for the 2-1-1 Information and Referral helpline. Please note: additional daytime availability to attend team and organizational meetings is needed.
The Community Resource Navigators will be responsible for handling local and contract calls, providing caller problem assessment, information and referral, and appropriate follow-up for 2-1-1 line and associated support. The 2-1-1 maintains a comprehensive database of thousands of local and national community resources that include information on services for food, shelter, utilities, health related services and more. 2-1-1 provides free, confidential, non-judgmental 24/7 service to community members in finding help and giving help.

Loading and unloading trucks, picking up and delivering material in trucks that range from ½ tons to 2 tons.
