Under the general direction of the Director of Finance, the Sr Accountant is responsible for the accounting operations of Ticket Boat, to include maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company’s reported financial results, ensuring that inventory is accurate and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards. This role will also be assisting with the Human Resources area of the Company in a limited capacity.
The position is in office positions at our office in the Mission, KS.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities
• Responsible for Accounting completeness and accuracy
• Ensures the completion of financial closing on daily, weekly and monthly basis
• Assisting in closing out daily and monthly instances of our bookkeeping system
• Completes daily metrics and AR/AP Review
• Ensure that accounts payable are paid in a timely manner and that accounts receivables are collected promptly by working with the A/R & A/P teams to ensure they are staying current
• Completes payroll review and submissions
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Prepares general ledger entries by maintaining records and files; reconciling accounts
• Guides financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures.
• Maintains and enforces a documented system of accounting policies and procedures.
• Protects assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
• Protects operations by keeping financial information and plans confidential.
• Develops and implements accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures; recommending changes
