Position Summary

Responsible for setup and operating CNC and/or manual grinding machines to produce precision components according to drawings and specifications with minimal supervision. All employees are responsible for contributing to a safe work environment, meeting our quality standards, and striving for 100% on-time delivery of customer orders.

Salary Range Low to Mid

$21.00/hr - $25.50/hr

• Monitor machine operation to ensure quality standards are met and make necessary adjustments as needed. This includes making machine offset adjustments as required to maintain specifications.
• Inspect finished products for accuracy, conformance, and overall quality.
• Uses standard inspection tools during the process.
• Uploads and edits programs on CNC grinder when required.
• Performs a variety of tasks; some of those tasks include CNC and/or manual grinding, manual machining (lathe and mill), honing, soldering, bluing, and painting.
• Enter all production information into the data collection system.

• High school diploma or its equivalent and at least 3 years of experience in CNC and/or manual grinding.
• Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Works under minimal supervision. A high degree of creativity and latitude is required.
• Proven programming skills.
• Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to take ownership of work
• Ability to follow processes accurately
