Job Summary
The GS Girl Program Specialist (K-5) is responsible for supporting and retaining KDG-5th grade girl members in the Daisy, Brownie & Junior levels. Through providing mentorship, support, training, development, implementation, support, and evaluation of high-quality programs within the pillars of the Girl Scout Focus (STEAM, Civic Engagement, Outdoors, Entrepreneurship) that meet the needs and interests of young girls. They will ensure the creation and execution of girl experiences that volunteers are motivated to participate in; that parents recognize as valuable; and that girls are engaged in and excited to experience. Will lead program staff, and volunteers in program delivery; communicates and promotes girl program experiences participation. Employee must reside within the Greater Kansas City Metropolitan area and attend regular in person meetings.
