Reporting to the Director, Data & Insights, United Way of Greater Kansas City (UWGKC) is seeking a Data Analytics and Salesforce Manager to focus on deriving actionable insights through data analytics, as well as optimizing our Salesforce CRM platform for enhanced business operations. The candidate will play a pivotal role in creating forecasting and analytical reports, configuring Salesforce according to organizational needs, and creating custom functionalities.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze organizational data to produce forecasting and analytical reports that drive decision-making.
  • Configure, manage, and optimize the Salesforce CRM to meet business needs and operational efficiencies.
  • Design and implement custom Salesforce functionality, along with integration to other third-party systems.
  • Develop reporting tools aimed at supporting all teams in the organization.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand business needs, gather requirements, and provide data-driven recommendations.
  • Support the ongoing data integrity of the CRM system.
  • Identify technological solutions that enhance productivity and simplify processes for internal users.
  • Train internal team members, especially those hesitant with technology, ensuring easy adoption and usage of implemented solutions.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in CRM, accounting systems, and other related technologies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Statistics or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in data analytics, computer programming, and/or API integration.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL querying.
  • Experience with backend programming languages.
  • Prior experience with Salesforce programming a plus.
  • Salesforce Administrator certification a plus.
  • Familiarity with modern CRM and accounting systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a flair for identifying technological solutions that improve operational efficiencies.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Familiarity with third-party system integrations.
  • Passionate about leveraging technology to drive organizational success.
