American Association of Veterinary State Boards (AAVSB) is seeking an experienced Membership Program Manager to lead and grow two new membership programs that also benefit the veterinary regulatory boards in expediting the licensure transfer process.
This full-time position is ideal for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit; who finds a startup exciting. What this means for us is finding someone who is ready to stand up new programs and who can look long-term and see what it takes to set up these new programs for success. This person would be ready for short-term setbacks and be ready to evaluate and improve them. The Membership Program Manager will lead a team of administrative support and will have significant support and opportunity for professional development.
This position will regularly interact with program members and internal AAVSB teammate across multiple departments. Excellent customer service and collaboration skills are a must so members and colleagues feel supported. Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000
Ability to:
Education and Experience:
Required: Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of three years of demonstrable professional or significant tenure in association membership activities, including project, program, and people management
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five years of demonstrable professional experience in association membership activities, including project, program, and people management
Must be committed to ongoing professional development. Occasional travel and weekend work might be necessary to fulfill the position’s responsibilities.

Details:
The AAVSB is headquartered in Overland Park, Kansas. This position may be virtual/remote with the understanding that there will be required company-paid travel to Overland Park, Kansas, and other locations throughout the year.
