The AAVSB is seeking an Information Technology (IT) Associate to be responsible for supporting the activities of the American Association of Veterinary State Boards (AAVSB) and assisting the Office Manager and management staff with general administrative support. This position is responsible for offering technical support to AAVSB Staff and troubleshoot computer problems, install, and update company software and hardware as needed, and interact with outside technology vendors.
A successful IT Associate must have a thorough knowledge of computer software and hardware and a variety of Internet applications, networks, and operating systems. This individual needs to have great troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail.
This full-time position works in the AAVSB office located in Overland Park, KS.
Compensation: $40,000 - $45,000
Education and Experience:
Required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and at least 3 years providing IT support or equivalent work/educational experience
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree and additional relevant experience in the field
Work is performed under the direction of the Office Manager.
Salary range: $40,000 - $45,000
The AAVSB is headquartered in Overland Park, Kansas (KC greater metropolitan area).
