Three Dog Bakery is seeking a Part-Time Decorator to support the Three Dog Bakery Retail store at the Leawood, KS location. This part-time position will assist with the day-to-day operations of the bakery shop, including production of baked goods, handmade treats and decorating cookies and pastries to company standards. The associate will also be expected to provide customer interaction, assistance, and service in a quick, friendly and efficient manner. They will maintain store appearance and product presentation, becoming familiar with standard sales and company concepts, practices, and procedures and will rely on personal experience and judgment to plan and accomplish daily goals.

This role will require weekend hours.

Working at the Leawood, KS location, this role will report directly to the store manager/owner.

• Acquire and improve on dog treat and pastry baking and decorating techniques.
• Learn to personalize products for customers (piping/frosting/seasonal requests).
• Work in an honest, reliable and trustworthy manner.
• Provide outgoing, personable and caring customer service.
• Proven knowledge of store product (wholesome/nutrient filled ingredients, handmade process, available selection) and basic dog needs.
• Up-sell & cross-sell by demonstrating/recommending products and interacting/engaging with customers.
• Assist in maintaining stock levels for all fresh-baked items, communicating resource/ingredient/product needs to supervisor as needed.
• Contduct daily store operations including opening and closing duties, daily reports, and merchandizing product as needed.
  
• Provide continual creative suggestions & ideas for:
  • Increasing store sales
  • New Products to sell
  • Store window displays
  • Special events & promotional ideas
  • Merchandising

• Decorating experience required.
• Pastry/baking experience preferred.
• Genuine care and passion for all the good boys and girls Three Dog services daily, looking out for their best interest and suggesting beneficial products for their health, happiness and overall wellbeing.
• Willing to learn and apply instruction well.
• Have an outgoing personality and the ability to interact well with people and dogs, assuring their bakery experience is fun and enjoyable.
• Ability and willingness to keep busy throughout the day.
• Organized and diligent with paperwork with notice to accuracy and knowledge with the point of sales.
• Ability to learn new baking and decorating techniques.
• Weekend availability.
