    Altasciences Clinical Research, encompassing Algorithme Pharma, Vince and Associates Clinical Research and Algorithme Pharma USA, is one of the largest early phase clinical research organizations (CROs) in North America. As a leading, full-service CRO, we have extensive expertise in the execution of a wide range of Phase I/II clinical studies, especially complex trials in healthy normal volunteers and patient populations.

    The Business Associate is responsible for driving internal processes within the Business Development team and also maintaining solid business relationships with our clients in order to ensure long term and successful partnerships. This role reports to the Manager, Business Development- Clinical Division Innovator.  



    • Generates inquiries from new and existing clients- monitoring returning customer accounts and proposals on a regular basis to maximize the volume of work awarded to the organization.This is accomplished through proposal follow ups and by pulling in the appropriate resources within the organization to assist in client interactions, in order to meet and exceed customer expectations. 
    • Understands the quotation process and is responsible for preparing, pricing, and issuing and maintaining accurate and complete pricing proposals, ensuring that these proposals are up to date with changes monitored closely.
    • Responsible for ensuring all clients inquires and concerns are directed to the associated person/department and addressed in a forthright and timely manner.
    • Act as an internal resource to assist where needed within the team
    • Responsible for ensuring that all information related to the client’s needs and preferences are clearly communicated to all pertinent internal departments
    • Responsible for coordinating and planning client visits, attending and assisting client visits where necessary (as outlined in the Client Visit Process), as well as hosting clients
    • Responsible for maintaining and updating the CRM database
    • Responsible for the evolution and improvement of the department by developing and assisting in special projects.


    • Bachelor degree in Marketing/Business, science or related field preferred. Equivalent experience could be considered.
    • 1 - 3 years  working experience in sales, sales support, or related field. ​Experience in CRO industry is an asset

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including MS Project) and PowerPoint
    • Excellent communication and persuasion skills (internal and external)
    •  Good presentation skills
    • Good follow-up and organizational skills
    • Perseverance, self-motivated and strong professionalism
    • Travel comprises a 10% component of the job.
