    Do you want a fast-paced, exciting and innovative career in research? Altasciences Clinical Research is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Associate to be based out of the Seattle, Washington area.

     

    The Quality Assurance Associate will coordinate auditing activities to ensure compliance with SOPs and GLP requirements. In this role you will perform a wide variety of activities pertaining to assuring compliance with applicable regulatory requirements by conducting audits, inspections, data and documentation reviews.

    Responsibilities

    • Audits GLP final reports, raw data and supporting documentation for internal accuracy, consistency, and conformance with regulations under general supervision.
    • Performs critical phase inspections of ongoing study activities.
    • Prepares, issues, and tracks reports of observations noted during audits and inspections.
    • Maintains computerized files to support audit activities.
    • Applies basic compliance theories and principles to independently address routine issues.
    • Identifies procedural compliance risks and proposes corrective actions.
    • Assists in training staff on basic processes and procedures.
    • Gains cooperation of peers through regular interaction and focused collaboration.
    • Participates in departmental goals.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred
    • 1 year related experience in quality assurance and audits
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
    • The ability to read and interpret scientific documents
    • The ability to write routine reports and correspondence
    • The ability to work independently and with a team
