    Do you want a fast-paced, exciting and innovative career in research? Altasciences Clinical Research is currently seeking a Formulator- Research Associate to be based out of Seattle, Washington.

    The Formulator provides senior technical oversight in the Test Article Formulation lab area. You will be working with complicated formulations, addressing formulation scale-up technologies, and establishing formulation strategies with clients. You will be expected to follow standard operating procedures and protocols established within the company for specific studies. This position may include working in the Altasciences Pharmacy.

    Responsibilities

    • You will perform formulations of dose preparation and dispensing of test and control article materials.
    • You will comply with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) guidelines and department Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
    • You will ensure appropriate review of data is completed in a timely manner.
    • You will be expected to demonstrate high quality documentation skills following study protocols.
    • You will perform reconciliation of test and control articles in a complete and timely manner.
    • You will evaluate as needed test article processes for adherence to GLP regulations.
    • You will coordinate and ensure the validation/calibration status of equipment.
    • You will address audit findings and implement appropriate corrective actions.
    • Review and revise SOP's for laboratory procedures and equipment for completeness and accuracy.
    • You will serve as Formulation lead for GLP studies as assigned by Test Article management.
    • Assist in mentoring of junior staff in complex formulation processes and procedures.

    Qualifications

    • BA or BS in a scientific discipline.
    • 4-6 years related work experience in a regulated work environment, GLP experience preferred.
    • Equivalent combination of education and work experience may substitute for education requirement.
    • Problem solver.
    • High quality documentation skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of employees.
    • Ability to multi-task and maintain organization in a fast paced, changing environment.
    • Positive attitude toward work and co-workers.
