    Altasciences Clinical Research, encompassing Algorithme Pharma, Vince and Associates Clinical Research and Algorithme Pharma USA, is one of the largest early phase clinical research organizations (CROs) in North America. As a leading, full-service CRO, we have extensive expertise in the execution of a wide range of Phase I/II clinical studies, especially complex trials in healthy normal volunteers and patient populations.

    Reporting to the Controller, with supervision from the Chief Financial Officer, the Accounting Payment Processor will process all subject payments and ensure proper entry of visit completion in the study visit database (Reveal). Other responsibilities include assisting with all responsibilities of accounts payable clerk.

    Responsibilities

    • Present payment to all subjects appropriately according to most recently approved and signed informed consent form
    • Determine appropriate payment form based on subject status and subject history (i.e. gift card, reloadable credit card, check or cash)
    • Ensure and confirm accurate information is provided on payment processing form
    • Obtain appropriate subject signature on payment processing form to maintain 1099 subject information
    • Ensure appropriate entry into Company database (Reveal) of all subject visits and related information
    • Ensure appropriate entry of subject payment information into Microsoft Great Plains Dynamics accounting system
    • Maintain appropriate subject status in Company database (Reveal)
    • Provide assistance to subjects concerning payment and related questions
    • Assist with year-end 1099 reporting
    • Compile statistical, financial, accounting or auditing reports as requested by Controller and/or CFO

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or GED (required), College Degree (preferred)
    • Minimum of two years experience performing similar duties
    • OSHA, BLS certification
    • Working Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
    • Great Plains Accounting Software experience is a plus
