    Do you want a fast-paced, exciting and innovative career in research? Altasciences is hiring an evening shift PRN Research Technician I for their Overland Park campus. The individual must be available for a rotating weekend schedule (Saturday and Sunday) and 1-2 days during the week working no more than 30 hours per week.

    Altasciences Clinical Research, encompassing Algorithme Pharma, Vince & Associates Clinical Research and Algorithme Pharma USA, is one of the largest early phase clinical research organizations (CROs) in North America. As a leading, full-service CRO, we have extensive expertise in the execution of a wide range of Phase I/II clinical studies, especially complex trials in healthy normal volunteers and patient populations.

    The Research Technician I provides the food service duties to in-house study participants ensuring that each participant is receiving the correct meal, correct portions, at the correct time point, and all while collecting the correct data needed for clinical trials.



    • Maintaining a professional presence at all times
    • Responsible for receiving meals from catering company
    • Measure and prepare food
    • Serve meals and accurately complete documentation
    • Assist with food and supply orders and receive orders from Sysco or other vendors
    • Participate in delivery of study participant meals in accordance with established criteria and procedures if the participants are unable to eat meals in the cafeteria
    • Maintain and support sanitation standards as required by department policy and regulatory agencies
    • Operate and maintain equipment and notify Food Service Supervisor or Facilities Manager of any issues with equipment
    • Follow established Standard Operation Procedures, Work Instructions and any additional study specific instructions for procedures that are being performed
    • Ability to provide back-up support to peers during procedures (i.e. knowing when a peer needs help and how to do so in a timely, effective and appropriate manner)
    • Record detailed information (i.e. time, date, initials) related to the task performed at the time the task is completed


    • 1 + year in health care where documentation was required

    • Ability to interface with busy clinicians and nurses to perform study duties
