OMNI has been retain to assist in their search for a Project Manager.

     

    The Project Manager is responsible for every phase of the product life-cycle, from proposal to project kick-off, collaboration with engineers during design phase, and ultimately the timely completion and successful commercialization of our electromechanical medical devices. 

     

    **This is not a remote opportunity - candidate must be able to relocate to Kansas City, if not already residing here. Relocation assistance will  be considered.**

    Responsibilities

    Key responsibilities for Project Manager include: 

    • Provide day-to-day direction to project resources
    • Ensure effective change management occurs throughout the course of the project
    • Responsible for preparation of documentation, status reports and budgets 
    • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects ranging $200k to $1M with durations of 6-12 months

    Qualifications

    Qualifications for Project Manager:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and/or Business
    • 2+ years' working in a client-facing Jr. Project Manager, or Project Coordinator/Admin role 
    • Experience leading and completing project development from business proposal through post-production support
    • Expert knowledge of MS Project and Excel
    • Demonstrated project budget management experience
    • Excellent oral and written communications, interpersonal, negotiation, project planning, judgment, leadership, decision-making, analysis and problem-solving skills 
    • Excellent team skills to manage diverse departmental goals toward successful project completion
    • Excellent planning, analytical skills as well as good organization and time management skills
    • Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time
    Highly Desired Qualifications for Project Manager: 
    • Ability to direct project efforts in a regulated industry, preferably ISO 13485 and FDA compliance 
    • MBA a plus! 
    • Experience in the contract engineering and manufacturing business a plus!
