    OMNI has been engaged by Clarkson Construction to identity an experienced Concrete Construction Quality Control Technician Laborer to join their team. 


    Reporting to the Quality Manager, the primary responsibility of the Concrete Construction Quality Control Technician Laborer will be to perform standard concrete, soils, aggregate and other construction material testing.

    • Support evaluation and implementation of new material technologies throughout the company.
    • Sample and test incoming construction material for concrete, aggregates and soils.


    • Maintain and apply knowledge of current quality standards, specifications and industrial processes.

    • Interact professionally with client representatives at project sites and in the lab.

    • Assist with maintenance of lab equipment and arrange for calibrations, preventative maintenance repair and/or adjustments.

    • Conduct business in a professional and ethical manner.

    • Adhere to all safety and protective equipment policies, demonstrating safe work practices and maintaining safe working conditions inside and outside of the lab.



    • Perform work in high traffic volume areas for extended periods as needed.
    • Work in extreme weather conditions.

    • Ability to multi-task, set priorities and meet strict deadlines.

    • Demonstrate strong work ethic with integrity and commitment to compliance.

    • Work nontraditional or extended hours as needed.

    • Seek and obtain additional training as needed for industry testing changes.

    • Audit and publish documents into Document Control System.


    • Current materials testing certifications including KDOT, MoDOT and/or ACI.

    • Minimum of two years of related experience with demonstrated competence in work assignments.

    • Thorough knowledge of concrete and concrete related lab and field testing.

    • Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record required.

    • Heavy lifting and carrying will be required – up to 50 lbs.

    • Some overnight travel required.

    • Basic computer skills including Excel, Word, Outlook.
