Due to the current and continued success of the organization, Three Dog Bakery seeks a Sales Operations Specialist.


This position will report to the Executive Vice President, Global Business Development – Wholesale Channel.  This role will handle customer service while supporting sales, operations, distribution and logistics for the Food, Drug & Mass and Pet Specialty SBUs to achieve the company sales and profit goals and objectives.  The successful candidate will be customer focused, detail-oriented, comfortable using a variety of software including MAS and/or Sage as well as possess advanced Excel skills including complicated formulas-lookups and pivot tables. 

  • Process inbound customer EDI orders and outbound ASN’s (Advanced Ship Notices) in the MAS financial system (Sage 100).
  • Manually enter emailed and faxed orders in MAS (Sage 100).
  • Prepare export documentation and additional requirements for Canada and UK customer shipments.
  • Monitor customer orders ensuring they are fulfilled, shipped and received correctly and on time.
  • Keep customers/ buyers informed on order status/ logistics on POs.
  • Complete new item set-up forms for new customers/ products & provide product images.
  • Provide sales and contract administration with customers.
  • Provide sales forecasting and analysis to EVP Global Business Development and responsible Business Development Managers.
  • Product forecasting and planning and replenishment recommendations.
  • Document inventory, fill rate and replenishment monitoring, reporting and analysis.
  • Provide Wal-Mart reporting requirements using Retaillink.
  • Provide support for Target using Partners Online web portal.
  • Provide support for EDI customer set-up and ongoing requirements.


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, marketing, finance or related field.
  • Demonstrated success in the role of a sales support/ operations professional within an organization of comparable size and scope.
  • Demonstrated success in establishing excellent working relationships with external and internal clients.
  • Excellent working, demonstrated knowledge of MS Office, Excel, Power Point, customer databases (e.g., WMT Retail Link, Target Partners Online, etc.), accounting (MAS/ SAGE 100) and sales software.
  • Working knowledge of sales and marketing tactics.
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Superb, demonstrated skills in Excel and data base management with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Valid driver’s license.
