This well-established organization is currently seeking an Executive Assistant.

 

This is a crucial role reporting directly to the CEO, providing high-level administrative support for the CEO and the Senior Leadership team interface. The selected candidate must have the ability to work effectively under pressure and handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.

Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities are administrative and involve facilitating the daily business activities of the CEO while demonstrating a high degree of professionalism and service. Key accountabilities include:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to the executive office and on behalf of the full Council.
  • Complete a broad variety of administrative tasks for the CEO, including calendar management, composing correspondence, preparing expense reports, researching information, recording information to databases, and preparing presentations.  Attend external meetings as requested by CEO.
  • Ensure clear communication is achieved between the CEO’s office and internal departments; demonstrate leadership to maintain credibility, trust and support with the Senior Leadership team.
  • Assist with the operations of Board of Directors and Board committees’ meetings, including scheduling and attending, minutes and record keeping.

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate must be able to simulate information and activities with ability to remain organized to efficiently handle multiple priorities and tolerate interruptions.
  • Demonstrated previous Executive-level support experience, including Board relations, is required.
  • Proven reputation for professionalism and business maturity.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven success building strong relationships at all levels.
  • Highly resourceful with the ability to prioritize assignments and achieve deadlines with minimum direction in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with office automation equipment, including phones, computers and Microsoft Office. Raiser's Edge experience desirable. 
  • Experience in for-profit as well as non-profit organizations is a plus. 
  • College degree required.
