Responsibilities

This position will serve as New Client Acquisition business driver for National Advisors and Relationship Manager for several key clients.  The majority of the DBD’s focus will be dedicated to:  Acquiring New Clients and executing Strategic Goals and Initiatives (75%), Growing NA Brand Awareness in the Industry (20%), Assisting in the New Client Experience (5%)

  • Serving in an almost exclusively client-facing role, the DBD will close new business for NAH.
  • Serving as an industry thought leader, understand industry trends, produce lead generation collateral, and a NA ambassador at industry events and conferences.
  • Gathering new Trust & Custody assets and identify customer needs for new products/services.
  • Acquiring New Client firms for NA via prospecting and incoming referrals (B2B Sales), performing firm due diligence, and adhering to NAs 5 stage sales process.
  • Liaison with NA New Client Experience Team, Implementation Team, Marketing Team, Communications Team, Product Manager and Project Manager as needed.
  • Regularly report on client status and opportunities to senior management. This includes writing Call Reports and utilizing CRM for data capture.

Qualifications

  • 7-10+ years of new business development experience and/or 7+ years of relationship management experience in the Financial Services industry
  • Previous employment with a registered investment advisory firm, bank trust department, investment management firm, clearing/custody house, broker dealer, or wealth management provider preferred
  • Prior responsibility for new business revenue goals
  • Proficient in Miller Heiman strategic selling
  • Exceptional contract administration and negotiation skills
  • Four year college degree in a financial or business-related field; MBA or MS in Finance is preferred
  • This position may at times require between 50 – 70% travel to client firms located in the USA.
