With its strong and growing asset base, the company is one of the largest independent trust companies in the nation. Due to their continued growth, they currently seek a Trust Assistant.

 

Responsibilities

The Trust Assistant provides critical support to the trust new business and trust administrative teams. This includes document review, preparation of trust transfer paperwork reporting, providing status updates to Advisors, and ensuring that all new business processes are completed in a timely, accurate and efficient manner.

  • Manage client contacts and status updates in Microsoft CRM.
  • Gather information needed to perform annual trust account administrative reviews.
  • Draft correspondence to Advisors and clients as requested by Trust Officers and New Business Officers.
  • Assist in coordinating tax preparation, engagement letters, communication with CPAs, etc.
  • Adhere to all internal and external regulatory requirements, standards, guidelines, policies and procedures.
  • Provide general administrative support, including scanning, filing and other related tasks.
  • Provide support for special projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum one year experience in administrative support or operations role, preferably in a trust department or law firm.
  • Proven ability to problem solve and prioritize workflow in a fast-paced, team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills and the ability to exercise independent judgment consistent with guidelines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and CRM.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
