This well-established organization is currently seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk in their Kansas City, MO headquarters.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Package parts properly so they are protected during the shipping process
  • Using Epicor, allocate parts to the customer’s order, print a packing slip, package them properly for shipping, and invoice the customer.
  • Schedule pick-ups from carriers.  Print shipping labels and other necessary paperwork for shipping.
  • Provide customer tracking  numbers for their shipment.
  • Properly file information after shipping so records are complete.
  • Ensure shipping materials are on hand (boxes, tape, bubble wrap, bubble bags, etc.)
  • Using Epicor, purchase basic supplies and services from vendor.
  • Perform other tasks in shop as directed by shop management or Production Coordinator.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Necessary computer skills: Microsoft Office, email, Excel spreadsheets.
  • Basic knowledge of shipping process and major carriers (UPS, Fed Ex, DHL.)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
  • Ability to physically move parts and boxes from one location  to another via carrying or loading and pushing a cart.
