The Assistant Community Manager will assist the Property Manager in effectively managing the assigned property. In the Property Manager’s absence, the Assistant Community Manager will assume all responsibilities associated with accomplishing property objectives as set forth by the property supervisor and the property owner(s). This role is directly responsible for maintaining daily, weekly and monthly reports including accurate reporting of rents and deposits received. 

 

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the position will include, but are not limited to: managing income collection, resident relations, marketing, and administrative duties that are involved in the day-to-day operations. In addition, the Assistant Community Manager will:

  • Maintain resident records, including rent, deposits, application fees, notices and receipts.
  • Inspect move-outs and vacancies as requested; display positive customer relations attitude.
  • Show property to prospective clients and work with lease renewals each month.
  • Contribute ideas for marketing and improving resident satisfaction; maintain awareness of market trends.
  • Manage applicable reports, leases, service requests and various paperwork as needed.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • 1+ years' experience in the field of on-site property management.
  • Ability to successfully work in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
